Inspired by the Louvre’s Venus de Milo, the deck brings her noble profile and iconic S-shaped silhouette to life through refined embossing. Expansive hot-foil gilding captures the golden beams that fall from the Louvre’s domed ceiling, giving the tuck case a sculptural, art-piece quality. The card back features an intricate composition of acanthus and volute motifs woven into a flowing S-curve. Complex yet harmonious, the design feels alive, as if its forms were growing beyond the paper. The remaining eleven Olympian deities are engraved with fine linework and framed by ornate European motifs. The indices bloom into gilt flowers that will never open—an homage to the beauty found in imperfection.
