Iron Hollow (Ravenclaw)2025

Iron Hollow is a Victorian Gothic Romance, designed and illustrated by Nicolai Aaroe, telling the tragic lovestory of twelve central characters, all inspired by gothic folklore and legends. It is an illustrative storytelling and a luxurious set of playing cards all at once. This project is the next volume in the Trials playing cards series, and as such carry the same overall artistic style and idea as the Vengeance of Witches project. The Ravenclaw tuck is a gothic ornamentation, taking inspiration from gothic portals of mausoleums and Victorian tomb stones, while featuring an iconic raven. It is manufactured with black and silver foil, strategically embossed on a matte, black stock. The Ravenclaw deck has a silver gilding, which represents the cold steel of blades, jewelry and silver tipped bolts.
