In Session: Sophomore Year

Deck image

The second deck from the In Session Playing Cards line, Sophomore Year is a tribute to the 1990s. From the Saved by the Bell inspired back design, to the custom court cards holding various things made popular in the 90s, this deck aims to bring back those memories. Concept and courts designed by Danny Carey, Back Design and the four Aces designed by Jason Sawyer, in collaboration with Tanner James, Sophomore Year offers a shift in design from the previous Freshman Year deck, but keeps with the school theme. From the classic Trapper Keeper inspired Tuck Box, to the custom Court Cards, you will find all things 90s. The Tuck Case, printed by Calitho in Concord, CA, takes its inspiration from the classic Trapper Keeper folders. The tuck will have an extending flap that is held in place by Velcro. This recreates that old Trapper Keeper look and feel. The design is simplistic to mimic those same folders in their early release and it helps give the tuck a nice, clean feel with plenty of room for you to draw on or put your favorite stickers on it like you used to in school.
